| Do you provide treatment for mental health areas other than eating disorders? Yes. All the clinicians provide treatment for major mental health problems such as anxiety and depressive disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. Are you a community mental health organization? No. The Center is a private nonprofit and receives no ADAMH money. The Center receives no community tax or government dollars. Are you affiliated with The Ohio State University? No. The Center is a free standing nonprofit 501 c 3 organization. The Center rents our buildings, phones and email from The Ohio State University. Do you provide educational presentations? Yes See the web page that asks you to fill out a presentation request The specialized eating disorders staff create presentations tailored to meet the needs and requests of schools, churches, corporations, civic organizations all over the state. Do you see males? Yes 22% of the patients seen at The Center from July 2008 to June 2009 (fisal year) were male. How many patients do you see in a year? From July 2008 to June 2009 (fiscal year) The Center treated 1285 different patients of all SES, cultural and work and family levels. The same patient may come to treatment multiple times during the week. The Center provides around 200 sessions a week of treatment. What is the age and cultural range of patients seen? The Center has seen patients from 6 years old to 86 years old in the last year. The Center provides treatment to persons from all ethnic groups Is The Center handicapped accessible? Yes Where are you located? The Center is located in Franklin County on the former Harding Hospital campus, at 445 E Granville Rd., Bldgs. M, N and O in Worthington, Ohio (suburb of Columbus, OH). It is a retreat like setting that serves as a place for healing, and an environment in which you can unload the stress and begin to re-center yourself. |
