Next group meets September 19
2:00 PM-4:00 PM
Meets in Bldg M

Clients, family and friends of The Center are welcome. No reservation is necessary.

Participants make 9x7 knitted or crocheted squares from donated yarn that are then turned over to volunteers from the greater Columbus community to make afghans for the Battered Women’s Shelter. To date we have donated enough squares to complete over 30 afghans and the requests keep coming.

Instruction is provided for new knitters or crocheters. You will need to bring your own crochet hooks and or knitting needles.

If you are unable to attend, finished squares are always gratefully accepted and may be turned in at the offices in buildings N or O. Yarn donations are also welcomed.

Attendance at Weaving In The Ends is a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon with interesting people who want to serve others. It is NOT an Eating Disorder Support group however many of our clients report that knitting or crocheting is soothing and a great distraction from intrusive thoughts.
